Understanding AnthraxWhat is Anthrax?Anthrax is a colorless, odorless, tasteless bacterium that protects itself from sunlight, heat and disinfectant by forming a protective coat. With this coat, the bacterium is called a "spore." The spores are so small that even an infectious dose - between 8,000 and 10,000 spores - is smaller than a speck of dust. Spores sizes vary between one and five microns (one micron is a thousand times smaller than a millimeter). There are three predominant types of Anthrax: external, internal, and inhalation. External Anthrax- This form is usually contracted through a cut. Children playing in dirt with a cut on their arm might be vulnerable to this form of Anthrax. If this form is contracted the body can usually fight it of on its own. Cleaning cuts and scraps is always a good idea. External Symptoms- Skin infection or lesions eventually cover with a black scab. Sometimes it spreads to the lymph nodes. The disease produces headaches, muscle aches, fever, nausea, and vomiting. External Treatment- If treated promptly with antibiotics, essential oils & homeopathics death is rare. If untreated about 20% of cases are fatal. Antibiotics must be prescribed and taken as directed by your healthcare professional. According to Jean Valnet M.D. thyme oil is extremely effective for killing the anthrax bacillus. Two highly antimicrobial phenols in thyme, carvacrol and thymol, are responsible for this action. If you decide to use natural means of healing such as essential oils and homeopathics then follow these directions: If using essential oils use only Young Living Essential Oils as these oils are FDA approved for internal consumption. Rub oil of Thyme directly on the infected cut. Place one drop on Thyme in an eight-ounce glass of water and drink. Drink an eight-ounce glass of water with Thyme once every 2 hours until infection clears. Taking the homeopathic for Anthrax is also recommended. Use only Vibropathics from Hanna's Herb Shop, as this particular form of homeopathic does not actually contain any disease. Use the Anthrax homeopathic. Take three pellets, without touching, under the tongue on an empty stomach. This can be washed down with water. Repeat two to three times daily Internal varieties- these forms of anthrax may be initiated by consumption of infected meat or milk, or exposure to animal hides and wool. These forms of Anthrax usually affect the gastrointestinal system. While vaccination and antibiotics have stemmed anthrax infection in recent years, new strains have developed that are resistant to conventional anti-biotics. Symptoms- Inflamation of intestinal tract; nausea, vomiting, fever, and headache. Internal Treatment- Without antibiotics, essential oils and homeopathics 25%--60% of cases result in death. Use antibiotics as prescribed by your health care professional. According to Jean Valnet M.D. thyme oil is extremely effective for killing the anthrax bacillus. Inhalation Anthrax- If inhaled, anthrax spores can germinate and lead to infection within 1 to 60 days. This is pulmonary anthrax, which usually causes death. This form of Anthrax is rare but extremely deadly. The spores penetrate the alveoli, the tiny sacks in the lungs. The immune system responds, destroying some spores and carrying others to the lymph nodes in the chest. At this point the bacteria begins to multiply rapidly and spreads into the chest tissue. As they infect tissues in the chest these bacteria also produce toxins that enter the bloodstream. In the lungs the toxins can cause hemorrhaging, fluid collection and tissue decay. The fluid buildup outside the lungs can result in severe difficulty in breathing. If not treated, the mortality rate is estimated to be as high as 90%. Symptoms- The first stage, lasting from hours to days, involves flu like symptoms, including fever, coughing, weakness and chest pains. The second stage usually ends in death within days. Lung damage deprives the body of oxygen. The victim then goes into shock and infection in the brain may also occur. Antibiotics prove helpful only at the earliest stages of the disease because they fight bacteria, not the toxins the bacteria produce in abundance. Inhalation Treatment- If you suspect you have inhaled Anthrax spores check into a hospital immediately. Without antibiotics, essential oils and homeopathics 90% of cases result in death. Information Many People Want To KnowQ. What does anthrax look like? A. In its most destructive form an aerosol sprayed into air-it is invisible and odorless. Anthrax spores can be seen only through a microscope that magnifies 50 to 100 times. Scientist say it can be stored in bulk as a powder, liquid or paste. Q. Would I know if I breathed Anthrax? A. No. Q. If Anthrax is on the ground, can I get it from kicking up dust? A. Probably not. The spores tend to clump together, so even if inhaled, they do not get deep into the lungs. Q. Where do Anthrax spores come from? A. Anthrax bacteria live in the blood of animals. When an animal dies, the bacteria form spores that are released into the ground or other animals consuming the dead flesh.
