Arishtaphala
contains 7 different herbal extracts. Three of these, i.e.,
Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica, Embelica officinalis
collectively called TRI PHALA (three fruits) have a great
reputation in AYURVEDA, the ancient science of medicine
in INDIA. It is regarded as an excellent rejuvenator of
health and promotes healthy bowel function without being
a powerful laxative. Scientific studies have shown that
a wide variety of mechanisms (e.g., antioxidant, antifungal,
antibacterial, antiviral, including anti-HIV, etc.) are
at play, that gently and potentially contributes to its
value and power promoting human health. The other four herbal
extracts that are present in ARISHTAPHALA are: Boswellia
serrata, Ginger, Azadirachta indica and Curcuminoids.
