The coenzyme
form of B12 (5-deoxyadenosyl cobalamin). This is the active
form and is more efficiently utilized than the usual cyanocobalamin
form of B12. For normal absorption B12 requires intrinsic
factor, but even without intrinsic factor 1-2% of B12
can be absorbed Therefore since there are 500mcgs per
capsule in this supplement, considerably more than the
RDA of 2 mcg should be absorbed by anyone taking it.
